Secretary of Party Committee And General Manager of GDE Luo Jun And His Team Visited School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering of Foshan University for Study Edit Date：2021/11/21

       On 21st Nov, with leading of Secretary of Party Committee And General Manager of GDE, Luo Jun, Li Zhenzhou and Li Fang, Deputy General Managers and others, 8 people in total, visited Jiangwan campus of Foshan University and communicated with personnel from School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering and explored together ways of overall strategic cooperation between two sides in new trends.

       During the meeting, Chen Xin, Director of School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, showed warm welcome to GDE and took the lead in introducing the development history of the school, especially the regional ecological restoration and tourism management team building, led by global environmental and ecological, highly referenced scientist Wang Hailong as well as Trier project jointly undertaken by China and Germany. Subsequently, Song Xianqiang, Vice Director of the school, Jiang Xueding, Head of department of Environmental Engineering, and Yuan Wenbin, head of chemical Engineering, respectively introduced the construction of degraded environment management and sustainable development of resources, urban and rural planning and Spatial Big data application team, environmental catalysis team, new porous materials and ecological environment materials team and described high value utilization of bioactive substances, design and synthesis of new porous materials and new nano materials and their application in the field of environment and energy.

       Then, Ma Dongdong, Director of Science and technology Innovation Center of GDE, on behalf of the company, introduced the development history and the achievements made at home and abroad in engineering field to the participants, including focusing on the company’s science and technology development planning and key undergoing research projects, and put forward the key technical problems encountered at present.

       He mentioned that GDE was looking forward to the in-depth cooperation with Foshan University to solve the “bottleneck” problem. Afterwards, Li Fang, Deputy General Manager and Li Zhenzhou, Deputy General Manager of the company respectively made supplementary introduction on the development of waste power generation and solid waste treatment and food fermentation industry.

       In the end, the company Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager Luo Jun pointed out that the development of the enterprise needed scientific and technological innovation as the core. He stressed that enterprise and school should strengthen cooperation, with a mutually beneficial relationship between each other and enterprises should make full use of university of technology and human resources; and on the contrast, schools should also make good use of market resources and production conditions from enterprises; the two sides should play their respective advantages, establish long-term cooperative relations of industry and research, and strive to achieve “school-enterprise cooperation, industry-school win-win” through establishing practice bases, joint research of major topics, joint construction of laboratories, industrialization of scientific research achievements and other forms of cooperation.

       Through this communication, both sides reached consensus on in-depth cooperation in talent training, introduction, industry-research cooperation and other aspects, and made a clearer direction for the next step of communication.
