Stay Gold, Keep Mission in Mind and Forge ahead – Synchronization with Power Grid Has Been Accomplished for Guantao County Domestic Waste to Energy Project Contracted by GDE Edit Date：2021/02/09

       Guantao County Domestic Waste to Energy Project is located in Handan City, Hebei Province. The total daily capacity of waste is 800 tons. The project is divided into two phases:1st phase has capacity 500 t/d, equipped with 1× 500 t/d mechanical grate incinerator, 1×9MW steam turbine generator, with reserved land for the 2nd phase with 300t/d capacity.

       Since construction of the project started in September 2019, Project Department of our company has worked hard with unity, overcoming difficulties, and done solid jobs in all aspects of work with scientific control, comprehensive management, positive anti-epidemic and overcoming several effects such as rain season, cold winter, delay delivery of equipment etc. With concern and support of government departments at all levels and coordination of all project parties, a series of important milestones have been carried out such as foundation construction of main workshop , erection of the first batch of boiler steel, topping out of main building structure, boiler water pressure test, steam turbine generator running etc.

       According to the schedule required by ministries and agencies at all levels of Guantao County, Handan city, Hebei province at 05:28 am on 1st January, 2021, Synchronization with power grid has been accomplished at the 1st try. This is the 1st project with successful synchronization among 42 waste to energy projects under construction in the province in 2019.

       During the trial run, although the Chinese new year was coming soon, project staff actively mobilized resources from all sides and accelerated the overall progress of the project with good epidemic prevention measures.

       By 8th February, there were still 15 engineering and management personnel on duty on site in two daily shifts regularly inspecting boiler, steam engine and auxiliary equipment and other operating conditions, recording operating parameters of each equipment in detail to ensure normal operation of each equipment, and timely eliminate defects.

       When encountering difficulties, GDE project department accomplished missions. It is said that Keep fighting in gold armor until Lou Lan has been broken. All the staff of project department with firm faith, unity and dedication to their duties, strived to fight the tough battle at the end of the year.
